Week 10 “Building Teaching Skills through the Interactive Web”

Hi Robert and all classmates!!!!

Introduction
Here is a great quote;
"Preparing students today for tomorrow's workforce has a lot to do with teaching about how to use and evaluate knowledge. The Internet is rapidly becoming the biggest repository of information we have ever known. The key will be in our ability to find, evaluate and use the information it provides. We need to teach analytical and organizational skills. Students must know how to evaluate data. Gone are then days when students spent their time memorizing facts that were readily available at their fingertips. Students need to learn communication and study skills. We must give them the type of tools that prepare them for lifelong learning, so they know how to study and how to evaluate the importance of what they learn."
In olden times, people were securing limited knowledge on account of less resources. In the present time, people are obtaining their skills internationally. They share their ideas and information with well known experts of the world in each and every field of education; they also learning online. Online learning gets people to learn internationally, and serve internationally.  In tenth means last week of our course, we majored in assorted favorable subject matters; as, Recap/Overview (advice to future participants), and Levels of Technology Integration (LoTI).

Recap/Overview (advice to future participants)
 I found eminently the whole activities intriguing and well-informed. All subject matters have got a vivid sitting. Earlier than this course, I did not know about using technology in teaching. At the present moment, I learned a lot how to utilize technology in teaching and learning. I studied and thrashed out the most significant topics regarding using technology in teaching; as, searching website, ABCD method objective, final project – step 1, describing a class, aural/oral skill-building websites, creating a delicious page, and discussing a past sample project report, discussing reading, writing, and vocabulary skills, issue or problem that started the project, technology enhanced lesson plan, project-based learning, WebQuest, rubrics and alternative assessment, project task-4 solution issue or problem that started the project, technology tools for creating student-centered classes, creating an interactive PowerPoint document, use of one computer in classroom, learner autonomy, wallwisher, finding a partner for peer reading, creating an online course site or exercise, teaching with online tools, learning styles, and Final project report. I found the whole subject matters extremely knowledgeable and best for teaching with technology. All topics were discussed very, very glowing by our instructor Robert. I’m very thankful to him. I practiced and conducted the whole themes in my class. Students learned by very easy method their course topics and enjoyed a lot. These days, I am teaching with technology, and really taking pleasure in.
My advice for new participants is that they should practice the whole activities, and subject matters of this course with core of heart, and should conduct them in their classes fully; completing this beneficial course, they will be able to use technology tools in their teaching approaches intelligently. First, I was not capable of teaching well, and always feel problems how to engage class, now technology helped me and made me able to teach well and engage students adequately. I had the problem of biggish number of students; I did not know how to resolve it successfully. In this course, I learned about blogging; this useful technology tool resolved my problem productively. I love using technology in teaching.

Levels of Technology Integration (LoTI)
In this week, I learned about the Levels of Teaching Innovation framework. I have gone through the all levels; as, LoTi Level 0 - Non-use, LoTi Level 1 – Awareness, LoTi Level 2 – Exploration, Level 3 – Infusion, Level4a–Integration: Mechanical, Level 4b – Integration: Routine, Level 5 – Expansion, and Level
6 – Refinement. I really enjoyed reading them because they were very motivating and knowledgeable. These levels fully assist teaching methodologies as well as students learning and social activities.

Conclusion
Online learning gets one to enhance his knowledge internationally. It creates a sound educational atmosphere for learning any thing. As we know that online learning is the taking of courses where our materials are delivered to our computers via an internet link, and our communications with other course participants are done within the professional learning site. While we may occasionally communicate via telephone, letter or e-mail, there is no requirement for us to be in a specific place at a specific time. Usually, the people who learn this way are at a distance from the institution, they learn with, hence the term distance learning. I always have got an attempt to learn online, and get better my teaching skills internationally.
