Week 2 “Building Teaching Skills through the Interactive Web”

Hi everyone!!!

        I definitely feel in a great mood while taking lessons and working on various themes of this fascinating course; it seems an enormous treasure of knowledge. In addition, this course has got an attempt to adapt us to a new and sound environment of technology, and gets us to be at home utilizing technology in our teaching approaches. At this point in time I acknowledged that without web skills our teaching is just a waste of time. In second week, we have gone through assorted beneficial subject matters; as, searching website, ABCD method objective and final project – step 1, describing a class.

It is entirely proved that technology is only the weapon through which a person can fight and overwhelm the battle of lifespan. It is considered as the vital necessity for leading a successful time in every sector of life. Correspondingly, it made me capable of recognizing the genuine tools of technology while I was searching my best site in web page. First, I didn’t know about any others sites except some common websites; as, Google, Hotmail and so on. When my computer’s cursor got into the web page, it opened the treasure of sites and let me to learn about them with no trouble. There, I looked for a number of articles and found them with enthralling and knowledgeable details. The whole engines were brilliant and perfect, but I opted iSEEK EDUCATION for my information needs. I found its all activities and work straightforward, well- balanced, intriguing, knowledgeable, and in a great detail.   

ABCD method Objective

I eminently agree with Jones’s quote.

"Clear objectives can help the instructor design lessons that will be easier for the students to comprehend and the teacher to evaluate".

Clear objectives are considered as a vital necessity for good teaching because they make available a link between expectations, teaching and grading. A clear course objective facilitates students to make sense of each and every area of a subject. Clear objectives always enhance students’ thinking skill and get them to work hard in their subjects effortlessly and smoothly. In this week we accumulated about ABCD model objectives. I swotted up the ABCD method objectives conscientiously. This method is absolutely invaluable and worth-while for high-quality teaching. I followed on the ABCD method in my teaching and enjoyed a lot because it made me comprehend my students easily in every topic. Furthermore, this model objective can get better our teaching techniques well. I love ABCD model objective.

Final Project – step 1, Describing a Class

Project learning is the crucial part of education. It helps us to enhance and enrich our teaching skills smoothly. It has got an attempt to try a new technology tool or technique in our teaching, and brings victorious and successful changes in our schools and classes. Thereupon, it is known as the backbone of teaching and learning. I boned up on the whole steps of Final project, and all found very, very knowledgeable and remarkable. In this week our topic was just describing a class. I described the student population, setting, course goal, and student needs in detail on nicenet. I fully took pleasure while completing the first step of Final project. I keep my fingers crossed and hope that we will increase our teaching techniques by means of this valuable project effortlessly. On the whole, I entirely enjoyed this week and learnt a lot. I am once again thankful to our teacher who gets us to make better our teaching adequately.
